Celebrating Excellence in Patient Care: Genovieve Ambulo Recognized with DAISY Award Nomination

At Goldbelt Glacier, we are proud to recognize team members who exemplify compassion, professionalism, and excellence in patient care. One such individual is Genovieve Ambulo, an RN supporting the APU/PACU team at U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka.

Genovieve was recently nominated for the prestigious DAISY Award, a meaningful recognition that honors nurses who go above and beyond in providing exceptional clinical care and compassion to patients and families.

Working in the fast-paced Ambulatory Procedure Unit (APU) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Genovieve consistently demonstrates calm leadership, attentiveness, and empathy during some of their most vulnerable moments. Her dedication to patient safety, comfort, and recovery has made a lasting impact on both patients and colleagues alike.
