Nurse Practitioner Bora Leonard Exemplifies Gold Standard of Excellence
Goldbelt Glacier is proud to recognize Nurse Practitioner Bora Leonard for her exceptional performance supporting the 374th Medical Group at Yokota Air Base. Originally hired to perform deployment readiness health assessments under the leadership of Jen Juliano, Ms. Leonard, MNP, has consistently gone above and beyond her assigned role as part of our U.S. Air Force Medical contract.
In addition to her core duties, Bora took on the responsibility of serving as sole provider for Mental Health Assessments in support of non-flyer personnel across multiple branches at the base. Her initiative and clinical leadership have been essential in meeting critical mission requirements and maintaining continuity of care.
Her contributions have directly contributed to Yokota’s top ranking among the Pacific Air Forces for preventive health assessment completion and individual medical readiness rates. Despite her already demanding workload, Bora has further increased access to care by offering routine and acute appointments for active-duty patients.
The 374 Medical Group Leadership has expressed sincere appreciation for her dedication, professionalism, and the significant value she brings to the mission. Thank you, Bora Leonard, MNP, for your outstanding commitment to excellence and service!
