Recognizing the Dedicated Efforts of Quincee Parongao-Fleming and Elizabeth “Annie” Connors at Goldbelt Glacier
Quincee Parongao-Fleming and Elizabeth “Annie” Connors, both supervised by Program Manager Jen Juliano (pictured above), have proven themselves indispensable members of Branch Medical Clinic team at Camp Hansen Marine Corps Base in Okinawa Japan. “Quincee’s daily support of nursing care for the patient population goes above and beyond. Her efforts to improve patient health outcomes have ensured that emergency transport and triage occurred for patients who have presented acute symptoms. She handles these situations with composure and care,” said Juliano.
Quincee repeatedly advocates for her patients in the areas of care and treatment. During two recent incidents, her intervention and collaboration with other care providers ensured immediate urgent responses that proved to be vital to the health and well-being of her patients.
Annie Connors has been central to the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitative Therapy (SMART) Team, taking on a high load of acute walk-in patients each morning and collaborating daily with sports medicine and physical therapy providers, ensuring the highest standard of care is provided to patients. Her work has contributed to the readiness of Camp Hansen Marine Corps units. Her patient care has enhanced the ability of Marines to perform their duties and maintain mission capability.
